Best acrylic for outdoor laser engraved signs: UV resistance is the requirement

Every outdoor sign needs stated UV resistance, or the sun will yellow and weaken the sheet. Four of the five listings state it: the KAITELA pair lists UV resistance and weatherability, the Deylixay lists UV resistance for outdoor billboards, and the Gdhwxcl lists UV resistance for indoor and outdoor use. The KASTLITE listing does not state UV resistance, which is why it ranks last for outdoor work. For a sign that lives outside year-round, pick from the four that state it.

Size and thickness for signs

Size sets what you can make in one piece. The Gdhwxcl at 20 by 24 inches is the largest blank here, followed by the KAITELA 18 by 24 and the Deylixay 12 by 12. The KAITELA 8 by 12 and KASTLITE 6 by 18 suit smaller signs, plaques and samples. Watch for listing contradictions

Three listings contradict themselves, and the guide notes each one. The Deylixay title says 5-pack of 12 by 12 inch sheets, but its spec table lists 12-pack and 8×8 dimensions; trust the title and bullets. The Gdhwxcl title says 2-pack of clear 20 by 24 inch sheets, but its spec table lists Quantity 10 and a long color list; trust the title.
